원하기만 한다면 그는 이제 오아시스로 돌아가 파티마에게로 가서 평범한 양치기의 삶을 살 수도 있었다.

But here he was, at the point of finding his treasure,
하지만 그는 지금 보물을 발견하기 직전의 순간에 와 있었고,
and he reminded himself that no project is completed until its objective has been achieved.
목표를 달성하기 전까지는 그 어떤 일도 끝난 것이 아님을 상기했다.
목표를 완수하기 전까지는 결코 멈추지 말아야 한다는 이 말은, 우리 삶의 무수한 도전들에게도 적용되는 보편적인 진리라고 할 수 있죠.
