“I need you to help me find out where the alchemist lives.” First, they tried to find him on their own.

The boy approached a woman who had come to the well to fill a goatskin with water.
소년은 우물가에서 염소 가죽 부대에 물을 채우고 있던 한 여인에게 다가갔다.
“Good afternoon, ma’am. I’m trying to find out where the alchemist lives here at the oasis.”
“안녕하세요, 아주머니. 실례지만 이곳 오아시스에 사는 연금술사라는 분이 어디 계시는지 혹시 아시나요?”
The woman said she had never heard of such a person, and hurried away.

But before she fled, she advised the boy that he had better not try to converse with women who were dressed in black,
