“나갈 필요가 없거든.” 박사가 말을 하면서 다시 급격히 젊어지며 대답했다. “이 ‘전지안 안경’ 덕분이지.”
omnivision은 모든 것을 뜻하는 omni와 시력을 뜻하는 vision을 합쳐 만든 조어입니다. 세상 모든 일을 지켜볼 수 있는 박사의 능력을 상징하는 도구입니다.
He took off his little gold-rimmed spectacles and held them out. ″Would you care to try them?″
그는 금테가 둘러진 작은 안경을 벗어 내밀었다. “너도 한번 써 보겠니?”
Momo put them on. ″I can't make out anything at all,″ she said, screwing up her eyes and blinking.

All she could see was a whirl of colours, lights and shadows. It made her feel positively dizzy.
보이는 것이라고는 소용돌이치는 색깔과 빛, 그리고 그림자뿐이었다. 모모는 그만 어지럼증을 느끼고 말았다.
″Yes,″ she heard the professor say, ″it's always the same to begin with.

“전지안 안경으로 보는 게 그렇게 쉬운 일은 아니지. 하지만 곧 익숙해질 게다.”
He stood behind Momo's chair and gently adjusted the position of the frame. At once, everything sprang into focus.
박사는 모모의 의자 뒤로 가서 안경테의 위치를 부드럽게 조절해 주었다. 그러자 즉시 모든 사물의 초점이 또렷하게 잡혔다.
