Dear Kitty, Now our Secret Annex has truly become secret.
사랑하는 키티, 이제 우리의 비밀 부속 건물은 정말로 ‘비밀’ 공간이 되었어.
Because so many houses are being searched for hidden bicycles,
요즘 숨겨둔 자전거를 찾으려고 집집마다 수색이 심하거든.
당시 나치 점령군이 네덜란드 시민들의 자전거를 닥치는 대로 압수하던 상황을 반영하고 있습니다. 그 과정에서 집안 수색이 잦아지자 보안이 더욱 중요해진 것이죠.
