This is to protect you from “household showers.” There's a Dutch proverb: “High and dry, safe and sound,”
이건 ‘실내 소나기’로부터 널 보호하기 위해서야. ‘높고 마른 곳이 가장 안전하다’는 네덜란드 속담이 있지.
High and dry, safe and sound는 네덜란드어 속담 Hoog en droog를 옮긴 것으로, 침수 위험이 없는 높은 곳이 안전하다는 뜻입니다. 하지만 은신처에서는 위층에서 떨어지는 고양이 소변 때문에 이 말조차 무색해진 상황을 재치 있게 표현했습니다.
