I didn’t arrive home until five, since I went to gym with the rest of the class.

유대인 중등학교(Jewish Lyceum)는 1941년부터 나치가 유대인 학생들을 일반 학교에서 쫓아내고 유대인 전용 학교에만 다니도록 강제하면서 세워진 학교입니다. 안네도 이 정책 때문에 정든 학교를 옮겨야 했죠.

They gave me a beautiful book, Dutch Sagas and Legends, but they gave me Volume II by mistake,

so I exchanged two other books for Volume I.
그래서 다른 책 두 권이랑 1권을 바꿨어.
