“Nome, Miss Gates, it says here—well anyway, old Adolf Hitler has been after the Jews and he’s puttin’ ’em in prisons
“아니에요, 게이츠 선생님. 여기 그렇게 써 있어요—어쨌든 히틀러 영감은 유태인들을 뒤쫓아서 감옥에 처넣고 있대요.”

세실이 말하는 washing(씻기기)은 아마도 나치의 인종 정화(cleansing) 작업이나 특정 박해 용어를 어린아이의 시각에서 오해하거나 잘못 읽은 것으로 보입니다.
