At eleven o’clock Squealer came out to make another announcement.

As his last act upon earth, Comrade Napoleon had pronounced a solemn decree: the drinking of alcohol was to be punished by death.
지상에서의 마지막 유언으로 나폴레옹 동지께서 엄숙한 포고령을 내리셨으니, 그것은 바로 술을 마시는 자는 사형에 처한다는 것이었다.
By the evening, however, Napoleon appeared to be somewhat better,
그러나 다행히 저녁 무렵이 되자 나폴레옹의 상태는 다소 호전된 듯 보였다.
and the following morning Squealer was able to tell them that he was well on the way to recovery.
