“So let’s start with Julian and we’ll go around the room.” Julian scrunched up his face and started tapping his forehead like he was thinking really hard.
“그럼 줄리안부터 시작해서 한 명씩 돌아가며 말해 보죠.” 줄리안은 아주 열심히 고민하는 척 얼굴을 찌푸리며 이마를 톡톡 두드리기 시작했다.
“Okay, whenever you’re ready,” Ms. Petosa said. “Okay, so number one is that—”
“좋아요, 준비됐으면 시작하렴.” 페토사 선생님이 말씀하셨다. “네, 첫 번째는—”
“Do me a favor and start with your names, okay?” Ms. Petosa interrupted.
“미안하지만 이름부터 말해 줄래요?” 페토사 선생님이 줄리안의 말을 끊으며 말씀하셨다.
“It’ll help me remember everyone.” “Oh, okay. So my name is Julian.”
“그래야 선생님이 여러분 이름을 다 기억할 수 있거든요.” “아, 네. 제 이름은 줄리안이에요.”
“And the number one thing I’d like to tell everyone about myself is that... I just got Battleground Mystic for my Wii and it’s totally awesome.”
“저에 대해 가장 먼저 말씀드리고 싶은 건... 최근에 닌텐도 Wii용으로 ‘배틀그라운드 미스틱’ 게임을 샀는데 진짜 최고라는 거예요.”

“Very nice, I love Ping-Pong,” said Ms. Petosa. “Does anyone have any questions for Julian?”
“멋지네요. 선생님도 탁구를 아주 좋아한단다.” 페토사 선생님이 말씀하셨다. “줄리안에게 궁금한 거 있는 사람?”
“Is Battleground Mystic multiplayer or one player?” said the kid named Miles.
“‘배틀그라운드 미스틱’ 1인용이야, 아니면 멀티플레이도 돼?” 마일즈라는 아이가 물었다.
“Not those kinds of questions, guys,” said Ms. Petosa. “Okay, so how about you...”
“얘들아, 그런 질문 말고 다른 걸 물어봐야지.” 페토사 선생님이 제지하셨다. “자, 그럼 다음은...”
She pointed to Charlotte, probably because her desk was closest to the front.

“Oh, sure.” Charlotte didn’t hesitate for even a second, like she knew exactly what she wanted to say.
