“코너—” “할머니 안 오셔도 돼—” “코너, 치료받는 이 시기엔 내가 어떤지 너도 잘 알잖니—”
“We’ve been okay so far–” “Conor,” his mum snapped, so harshly it seemed to surprise them both.
“지금까지는 둘이서도 괜찮았잖아—” “코너!” 엄마가 두 사람 모두 놀랄 정도로 날카롭게 쏘아붙였다.

Conor had to sleep on the settee every time his grandmother came to stay.
